What We Do
The museum works with
advocates interested in
promoting educational
research, exhibitions and
the dissemination of historical
information about the Negro
leagues.
All museum programs and
projects are designed to
foster among young people
as well as adults a greater
understanding of the plight
of African-Americans as
they pursued their rightful
place in the realm of
sports.
We conduct activities designed
to stimulate interest in Black
history while learning about the
early circumstances of Black
baseball players.We encourage
interest in the game and
expose children and adults to the
basic principles of good
sportsmanship.
